The Future of diecutting

It was the swedish professor Dr. Calvin Sören from the “Royal University of Stockholm” who first made investigations on the behaviour of corrugates cardbord during the diecutting process. During the investigation all disadvantages like tears, splittings at the cutting lines, much more dust and problems with the nicks, were confirmed.

It needed further tries to solve these problems. Therefore it is necessary to fix the material properly during the cutting process. So there is no more need of channels. Specially the use of double-flutes causes high tensions because of its high material movement. The results are splitts ans bruises. TopMatrix reduces them to the minimum. The volume of the material remains and the cutting edges are hardly squeezed.
